Meet Co-Founders Jen & HEather
The Mourning Movement
The Mourning Movement was born out of our own lived experiences, deep desire to change the “don't-talk-about-it” narrative around grief and to increase our collective connections during this very human life experience.
**
The Mourning Movement takes a modern approach to grief work by providing education on “grief states, not stages”, the spectrum of grief and normalizing the the various death and non-death losses that all humans experience.
***
The Mourning Movement is a multi-faceted movement with opportunities to engage in ways that work for you at this particular season of your grief with your unique needs. You'll find bite-sized downloads, short videos, webinars, in-person workshops and intensive as well as larger scale grief retreats.
******
The Mourning Movement was cofounded by Dr. Heather Taylor, PsyD and Jen Reisinger, LMHC, licensed therapists with a passion for building community around grief and loss. Heather and Jen have over 25 years of combined experience supporting individuals, families and communities in moving forward while living with grief.
